Friends,

As we celebrate another Independence Day of our great country, let us consider our own spiritual freedom. Jesus said, "And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free. " (John8:32) Since we are set free by knowing the Truth, what are we now free to do?

We are spiritually free to be who and what we were created to be; wholesome, creative, productive men and women. We are free to make positive contributions within creation. We are free to be valuable members of society; people of excellence. All this is afforded to those who seek, know and apply the Truth to their lives.

Let's not remain bound and enslaved to false beliefs and teachings but rather shaped and guided by the word of God where it is written, “Mankind does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.”
